Pearl worked in a children’s home for twelve years and later on with disabled adults. She knitted for her children, grandchildren and also great grandchildren. She, therefore, still gets the urge to knit which she enjoys very much using the old patterns or making some up. Her daughter has joined her nearly three years ago after giving up smoking. She mainly knits blankets which Pearl helps to put together and makes the borders. She claims she would be lost without her knitting and is just pleased that her items find a good and worthy home. Pearl will be 80 this year.
Please see the knitting project page for more information about knitting.
